To listen, innovate, manufacture and always stay close ! Sulky answers to farmers real needs with useful innovations, adapted to their in-field conditions. The whole factory moves with this strategy, and foremost the Research and Development department where Sulky invests 4% of its turnover. Subsequently, many innovations have come to light and here are a few examples :

2005 – Electro-hydraulic AXION control box for rate modulation on DPA POLYVRAC trailed spreaders (Silver medal at SIMA 2005)
	2003 - TRIBORD system : in-cab controlled border spreading device on DPX fertiliser spreaders. (Awarded at SIMA 2003).
2003 – Seed transport monitoring device on REGULINE SPi seed drills. (Gold medal at SIMA 2003).	1992 – Improved seed placement down the row thanks to the SULKY SPI pneumatic drill and its Regul-line device. (Mentioned at SIMA 92).
1987 -  Launch of the SULKY DPX spreaders with the opening of the CEMAGREF official testing centre.	1985- Rate proportional to forward speed on the SULKY DPAX centrifugal spreader. (Silver medal at SIMA 85).

The factory at Châteaubourg revolves around the production. All departments such as Research, Methods, Quality, Production management, Maintenance, Sales, Spare parts, are situated around the production line. Objective : increase flow, and so efficiency..

2nd COMMITMENT : the high performance industrial set-up

From the reception of raw materials up to assembly and transport, everything is controlled, organised to deliver to you – as quickly as possible – your machines. This is why high performance, robotic, numerically controlled machines are used…which Sulky reinvests in and improves constantly.
 

Key : 1 – Cleaning and surface preparation in 5 stages. 2- Drying at 100° 3- Anti-corrosive primer in a dip bath 4- Baked at 135° 5- 2nd layer of anti-corrosive primer. 6- Finishing gloss 7- Drying at 100°

3rd COMMITMENT : responsibility of the staff

Here, the men and women are trained to use quality instruments. Each operator checks his settings, his tools, the organisation and functionability of his work station. He auto-checks his production. Supervised by quality monitors, the production is analysed and discussed in quality circles to improve even more and everyday your machines.
